Martin Luther King, Jr

I'm not sure I even want to think about what life would be like right now if it weren't for this man.  So even if it's just for this one day (and sadly, for alot of people, I know it is), let's appreciate his legacy and try to make good on his dream.  It's the least we can do.

You know what's sad? I was watching a documentary a couple of years ago. What was so memorable (and shocking) about it was that younger people were forgetting who Martin Luther King was! It's unbelievably shocking and sad. It's almost as sad as people not voting. Not voting is spitting int he face of every person that wanted to vote that couldn't: that got beat, or dogs turned on them or water hoses. What have we come to when we forget our past? We can never move forward.
